What is the Safelist?
The Safelist is responsible for keeping the official content of your brand or authorized partners out of the detections of the Axur platform, thus avoiding the treatment of non-infringing URLs as legitimate pages of your company. By registering your company's official websites and partners on the Safelist, the collectors will be blocked from detecting them.
What can I include in the Safelist?
Below are the most common contents included in the Safelist:
Domains and URLs registered by the client;
Domains and URLs of authorized partners and representatives;
Official social media profiles;
Official applications.
Emails (Exclusive to exposed credencials)
When you access the Safelist, if you have already filled out the Monitoring Settings with your official pages, our artificial intelligence will suggest some items for you to add! This will help you save time and ensure that no official content is forgotten.
How does the Safelist work?
It is possible to include content in the Safelist through the Axur platform and add websites/emails that your brand does not want to be flagged as threats in the detections.
Before moving on to the next step, it is essential to understand how the Safelist operates. When we detect a case, there is an automatic validation with the items on the Safelist, and for the case to be disregarded, there needs to be a perfect match. In other words, if the URL registered in the Safelist contains any special characters, for example, and the detected URL does not, the case will not be discarded. Here's an example:
Suppose your company has a partnership with the website mysalespartner.com, and you want to include it in the Safelist, but end up entering the URL http://mysalespartner.com/partnerships. If Axur detects the site mysalespartner.com/store, the case will not be dismissed, and a ticket may be created on the Axur platform. The idea is to include only the domain; in this case, it would be just mysalespartner.com.
For official applications, you must include the ID of the official application. To identify it, follow the examples below, highlighted in bold, after the word "ID" in the URL:
Example of Facebook Lite:
In this case, the application's ID is com.facebook.lite.
How to include content in the Safelist?
To include the content of your interest in the Safelist, simply follow the steps below:
1. Access the Axur platform locate the gear icon and then Safelist.
2. To include new content, click on “Add” on the right and choose the website category being included:
My Content: URLs related to your brand such as the official website, official Facebook or other social media profiles, and legitimate applications, among others.
Partner Content: Other authorized websites that use your brand on their pages, such as job posting sites for your company, and partner sites that sell your product, among others.
Other Content: General websites that are not related to your brand or partners, but you are not interested in receiving threats from them on the Axur platform.
Emails: Emails from former employees or credentials that you are no longer interested in receiving new detections for on the platform.
Important! The Safelist only adds emails, not email, and password pairs.
After choosing the desired option, click Continue.
3. On this Axur platform screen, you can include one or more URLs/Emails (in bulk) at a time in the Safelist. The screen will provide examples of URL structures that can be added.
4. Done! The provided URLs/Emails have been successfully added to your Safelist and will not be detected by the Axur platform. The confirmation of inclusion appears as shown in the image below.
In addition, you can also include a URL/Email from a specific ticket directly in the related ticket. When you are analyzing a possible infringement and identifying a legitimate website or partner, simply click on the option “Add to Safelist” as shown in the example above.
Can I add sellers or official stores from any marketplace to the Safelist?
No. Currently, the official stores and sellers on Safelist only attend Mercado Livre. Adding profiles of official stores from other marketplaces (such as Americanas, Amazon, Shopee, etc.) to Safelist will not result in the removal of ad listing tickets from these stores and sellers. The standard URL to add to the Safelist is https://www.mercadolivre.com.br/perfil/OLIST.
What happens to the tickets?
After inclusion, the Axur platform evaluates all open tickets for the registered URLs and automatically closes them. The criteria for closing are the same for tickets being processed or not. See below:
The threat, quarantine, and incident tickets: They will be discarded.
Notification tickets with one or more notifications: They will be closed as resolved.
Notification tickets without any notifications: They will be closed as interrupted.
Before discarding, you will be informed of the discards through a confirmation screen to validate the discarding/closure of the tickets. The tickets are clickable, and you can review each one before confirming the action.
How to access content in my Safelist?
You can access content through the Safelist's main menu. Here's a step-by-step guide:
1. Go to the Safelist's main menu.
2. On this screen, you can browse the registered content according to each type:
3. It is possible to export Safelist content to CSV by clicking on the icons available in the upper right corner.
