Explore, from the Deep & Dark Web area, is an advanced search engine that gives you real-time access to publications from private groups on Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, and other sources. It is an easy-to-use search engine that provides visibility into the content of the groups where we are infiltrated.
Search for trending topics, major attacks, and leaks, threats to your sector, or mentions of your brand.
Where to access it?
It is only available to users with Manager and Specialist profiles.
Access the Deep & Dark Web area and click on the Explore tab:
By accessing the tab, you can make the desired queries using the search field, but it is important to follow some patterns that will help bring more effective results.
How to search?
For exact results
Use quotes ("example") between terms if you want an exact search for a set of words. The results will return exactly as described by you, without major variations in terms or associations.
"Blue sky": searches will return results the same as the spelling entered.
Search for any word or all words
You can add result controls to make them more objective and narrow down the search, or to make it open and broad. See the respective commands:
AND: use the term "AND" between the words, and the results will only include mentions of the combination. In other words, the obtained results will have both words.
OR: use the term "OR" between the search words, and the results can vary between one or the other, without a combination. You will find results with any of them in a single search, increasing the productivity of the operation.
Hide irrelevant words from the results
The following commands can support accuracy and the volume of mentions found, which also improves validation productivity. Add negation terms so that common words that are unrelated to your brand are ignored by Explore. See the following commands:
NOT: add the term before words you want to ignore in your search. The example below will only show results with the first word but not the other two.
Example: blue NOT (colors OR paints) - this search will return results related to the term blue but without any relation to colors or paints, which may not be relevant to your brand within the segment.
Combining search commands is possible, for example: (blue~ OR "green") AND (colors OR paints).
Important! It is strictly necessary to always use uppercase letters for search commands. Searches such as sky or blue/sky and blue will not have an effect. Always use sky OR blue/sky AND blue for the tool to understand your commands.
Where is the search performed?
The Explore feature provides real-time access to messages from private groups on Telegram, WhatsApp, and Discord where Axur is infiltrated. It also provides content extracted from the DarkOwl supplier, potentially including posts from surface and Deep & Dark Web forums and markets, as well as general darknet websites. Additionally, it offers tweets related to threat intelligence to keep you informed about the latest attacks, vulnerabilities, and more.
Searches in conversations, group names, and fraudster profiles. Browse through previous and subsequent messages related to the searched term with real-time information and create tickets if desired.
How to create a ticket?
Access the result you have identified as a threat and click on Create Ticket in the result details.
Result sorting
The results are sorted by a score generated by the Deep Search (Elastic Search) search engine based on the words used in the search.
For example, if there is a search for the term "login sale," the following possible results will be presented:
[... the sale of login from CompanyX...] - with the presence of all the searched terms.
[... the sale of accounts and login from CompanyX...] - with the presence of the searched terms but in another context.
[... the sale of accounts and schemes from CompanyX...] - with the partial presence of the searched terms.
