Libraries – Search bots

Updated over 2 months ago

Your general keywords, the keywords you have input in Collectors advanced settings, and assets information are now libraries you can use when creating a bot, in the field “What to search for?”.

When creating a bot, you have the option to select libraries of specific information and keywords so you can optimize and maximize your collections:

Assets data libraries

Your assets information (under Assets, in Monitoring settings) such as Brand name and variations, Website domains, and others are libraries you can use to scale your bots collections. This way you define exactly what to search for in every query, customizing your searches as you wish.

Keyword libraries

Attention! The ability to view and edit Search Bots and Search Bot Libraries is exclusively available for Axur platform users with the "Manager" profile.

Under Searches, in Monitoring settings, you have the page Keyword libraries. This is where you can create groups of terms to input in Bots. Click Add Library to create a new one:

There, you will have the options to give a title to your library, select the asset they will work for (or even all assets if you wish), and input the terms you want to be in that library:

We recommend you group keywords by theme—for example, commemorative dates and holidays. You can also insert product names, slogans marketing phrases, and especially terms that tend to fool your customers. Feel free to explore and create libraries in the way that makes the most sense for your company.

In the Keyword libraries list, you can filter them by assets and edit the ones you want anytime:

Notice that edits you make on libraries will directly affect the bots that use them. More keywords mean more collections and tickets, and fewer keywords mean fewer collections and tickets.

Should I register word variations?

When setting up a new search, in the filters, you can choose whether you want to search for words that contain the term or that match the term exactly. We recommend that you include all the variations you want to collect.

Does the ignored term library still work?

Ignored keywords will remain in the same place and will be applied to all collections, including search bot collections. The only exception for now is Ransomware bots.

Also, take a look at the Search bots article to understand more about their functioning.
