You can save searches made on Explore to check results for them again later without having to set it up again. Also, if you want search results to become tickets, you can create collections. See how this works.
Important!
Saved searches and filters are shared between you and your team. Thus, everyone who has access to Explore can view, edit, or delete a saved search and filter.
Save search and filters
To save a search, look for the terms of interest and, if you want, add filters (detection date and/or platform). After that, on the results page, click on:
You can, then, set a name for your search so that you can differentiate them. Note that searches filtered with specific dates will not be updated since the results returned will always stay the same.
Consult and edit saved searches and filters
You can see your saved searches and filters by clicking on them on the search bar or on the Filters button, and you can also filter by detection date and platform.
Click the button ✏️ on Filters to edit your saved searches, or Edit on the search bar:
When opening the saved filters, you can rename or discard them:
Attention!
After discarding a search/filter, it is not possible to recover it. The action is permanent.
You also can not edit a saved search. But you can look for a search you wish to edit, make the changes to it on Explore, and then save it again with another name. You can still delete the previous search if it is no longer useful.
Use searches for collections
Under Monitoring settings, the Collections allow you to generate new tickets from a saved search on Explore.
Click on Add Collection to select a saved search and then create the collection. Notice that, to create a collection, you need to have at least one saved search. You can deactivate the collection anytime.
Important!
Searches connected to collections, when erased, don’t deactivate the collection. To deactivate the collection from the search, you must go to Monitoring settings.
The date information on the saved searches will not have an impact on the collections, as it only considers new occurrences that correspond to the search.
Before setting up a collection, you might consider simulating the volume of registers from the search on Explore. By filtering for the last 3 months and dividing the number of results by 90, you can have an idea of the daily volume of tickets that will be created from the search.
