Collections – Explore

Updated over 2 months ago

With the Explore collections, you can generate new tickets from saved searches and filters.

Important: To create a collection, you must have at least one saved search in the Explore menu within Deep & Dark Web.

To learn how to create and save searches and filters in Explore, click here.

Creating a collection

To set up collections settings, go to Monitoring settings and select Collections, under Deep & Dark Web:

Click on “Add collection” to select a saved search. Then you just have to click on Save, and this search's new results will be sent to your Tickets space. Each collection runs every 15 minutes.

Before you create a collection, you can also preview the results of the selected search, by clicking on the magnifying glass icon:

Attention! It is not possible to create more than one collection for the same search.

Also, beware there is a limit for collections and tickets, defined by your contract. In case you need to add more, talk to us at [email protected] or reach us via chat on the platform.

If you reach the limit of tickets with collections, don’t worry because tickets won’t stop being created–but we recommend you update your plan.

Advanced Settings

When creating a collection, it's possible to use content attributes to generate more accurate tickets for your search. This way, only tickets that are compatible with the created search and have (or do not) the selected attributes in the settings will be created.

To select the attributes, simply click on “Content”, and then a list will be displayed for you to choose the desired attributes or not.

Please note that this setting is optional. Even without configuring it, tickets will be created, however, with any type of content detected from your created search.

Is it possible to edit a collection after it is created?

No. You must delete the collection and create a new one or, if you prefer, select Explore the saved searches and filters and make the necessary changes so that you can create a new search, under a new name.

Do the tickets created by a search have a risk level?

By default, all tickets created from Explore have a medium risk level.
