We already know what a Takedown process is and how it develops, the entire Takedown process can be revisited in our article What is a Takedown?. However, when a Takedown process is completed, and the ticket is sent to the Closed tab, a resolution caption is attached to each ticket.
In this article, we will bring the main reasons for each type of ticket closure that had a Takedown requested. Today, we have 3 captions for this action: Resolved, Not Solved, and Interrupted.
Resolved
Tickets can be closed as resolved for the reasons:
Page takedown: the site has gone down;
Content Adequacy: Infringing content has been removed or adapted;
Aligned with the client: the closure was due to some alignment with your team;
The download is no longer available: the download that contained infringement is no longer available;
Redirects to the official website: when the ticket URL redirects to the brand's official website;
Product not available for sale: the infringing product has been removed from the ad, and the ad is unavailable;
Since, when resolved as a Page Takedown, the title and reason will appear as in the example below:
And when resolved with the others, the title, and the event will receive the information of its reason.
Why might a page still appear accessible even after a takedown?
Some customers may notice that a page still appears accessible at certain times, even though the takedown has been successfully completed. This can happen due to technical reasons, such as:
DNS propagation: The removal may take some time to be reflected globally due to DNS server updates.
Browser and server caching: Some pages may still be temporarily viewable due to caching.
Different servers and regions: The content may have been removed from some servers but remains accessible on others until full synchronization occurs.
If you have any doubts, we recommend clearing your browser cache or testing in an incognito tab.
Not Solved
Tickets can be closed as unresolved for the reasons:
Removal request denied: despite all our efforts, we were not successful in reporting to the platforms.
No response from entities: we did not receive any responses, or the responses were unsatisfactory in resolving the incident.
In this case, for closure in both reasons, the title on the ticket and the event will be the same (and each will have its reason):
Interrupted
When a Takedown is interrupted, there are some circumstances that may vary in the time of billing and site activity.
